Chris Curran signs with the Ontario Reign of the ECHL - a AA league in Ontario, California, USA.

The Reign have just acquired a great hockey player and a whole mess of new fans.

Mississauga Icedogs are the Eastern Conference Champs !!! The Dogs beat the Toronto St. Michael's Majors 4-2 to take the Championship series 4 games to 2 and will move on to play the winner of the Guelph/London series for the OHL title. Chris Curran scored the game and series winning goal and all the Currans in the stands went nuts. Way to go Chris !!!!!

Update: Wed Mar 24th Chris scores goal in 2 - 0 win over Oshawa to even the series at 2 -2. Chris is named the game's second star !!!!!

Update: Fri Mar 26th Chris scores goal in 5 - 1 win over Oshawa to pull ahead in the series 3 -2. Chris is named the game's third star !!!!!

Update : Mon April 12th - Chris scores the game and series winning goal, named 3rd star and Chris is quoted in the Toronto Sun again.

Chris scored a goal in his 3rd straight game last night as the MIssissauga Ice Dogs defeated the Belleville Bulls 5 - 3. A plus 3 on the game, he also added an assist which gives him 5 points over the last 3 games!!! Way to go Chris. You rock.

Chris Curran scores the game winniing goal - an unnassisted effort - to help Misisissauga beat Sarnia and take over first place in the Eastern Conference. He is named the game's second star !!! Way to go Chris!

Chris' hard work and leadership by example has earned him an 'A' - as in Assistant Captain of the Mississauga Ice Dogs. Congratulations Chris, and good luck on the upcoming season.
