Hello,

My name is Joy Ella Marie Curran. I reside in Orillia, Ontario Canada. I am trying to locate information on my mother's father John Stanley Curran. His DOB is November 26th 1923 and he passed away on August 9th 2004. He was a World War 2 rear gunner.  As happens many times through the year I find my thoughts filled with him (birthday, christmas and Rememberence Day), I would like to find out more about him and his life.

I am told that we originate from Ireland but know little else about our family history. I have also been told that my grandfather was married three times and outlived two of his wives. I know nothing of the first wife and very little about the remaining two. The second wife, who is my paturnial grandmother is Joyce Jefferies. She passed away before I was born but gave birth to seven children Christine Curran Barrett Tripp (deceased), Phillis Curran, Nancy Curran, Kathleen Curran Kruger Anderson, Lorie Jean Curran Bye, Sandra Ann Curran Kirby (my mother) and John Curran Jr. Not necessarily in that order. His third wife is Olive Noreen Bye Curran. She is the mother of six children ( I believe).  Anyway, any information that you have that may pertain to my family would be appreciated.
