hello all, my name is Sarah, i'm 27years old and live in Christchurch, New Zealand. I'm third generation Curran here, my daughter Savannah is now the fourth. i have limited knowledge of my families geneology , but iam hoping to learn more on here. My great-great grandfather was from edinburugh i believe, he moved the family to london early on. My grandfather Alan worked as a glazier during the war then moving on to Australia where he met his wife Shirley Smith. They then came over to New Zealand in the early 50s having 2 daughters and a son. Both of my grandparents are no longer with us, but Alan (grandfather) has one living brother in england Thomas Curran. I do have more info but that is just a quick run down on how we came to be in New Zealand. cheers i look forward to digging further into my families history with you all.
